Our Story -

We’re Micky and Kayla, and for many years this haven on the Little River has been the backdrop of our lives — a place where we raised two wonderful sons, built a thriving marine business, and collected a lifetime of stories carried on salt air and sunsets.

Living in a small coastal town does something remarkable: it makes strangers into neighbors and neighbors into friends. In Little River, we’ve come to know just about everyone — not because we tried, but because this place encourages that kind of life. It’s the kind of community where people wave simply because they saw your boat leave the dock that morning.

The days here have been nothing short of extraordinary. We’ve watched sunrises that felt like private performances and sunsets that stopped us mid-sentence. We’ve fished more hours than we could ever count, cruised the waterway simply to clear the mind, and — if we’re being honest — we’ve eaten more dinners by boat than by car. It’s hard to resist when world-class seafood is just a few gentle turns of the propeller away.

And for those who cherish the fairway as much as the waterway, you’ll appreciate what we’ve always called our “front-yard perk” — living in the heart of the Golf Capital of the World, with a course greeting us each morning just steps from our door.

It is, without question, a treasured lifestyle — one that has shaped us, grounded us, and filled our years with joy. We do hate to say goodbye, but we’re not truly leaving the river — we’re simply drifting a little farther downstream to a newly built home that suits this new, quieter chapter of our empty-nest lives.

Letting this place go is bittersweet, but what brings us comfort is the certainty that the next owners will love this home every bit as much as we have. If you are fortunate enough to make this your own, we hope it brings you the same peace, adventure, and quiet magic it has given our family.

Life on the intercoastal is a gift — one we’re grateful to have lived.
